Taxis

Taxis run all night. The common way to get one is the Gett app; you can also hail one on a main street. On Thursday and Friday nights, the busiest nights out, expect to wait, and on Shabbat and at night the fare is higher.

Shabbat: Friday evening to Saturday night

Regular buses and trains stop from Friday afternoon until Saturday night. Since 2019 Tel Aviv runs free weekend minibuses, called Na’im Busofash, on set routes around the city and nearby. If you go out on a Friday, check the route and the hours before the night.

Walking and scooters

Tel Aviv is flat and compact, and the main nightlife areas (Rothschild, Florentin, the port, the center) are walkable from one another. Many people use electric scooters and bikes; after drinking, a taxi is the safer choice.
